"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,"-Hebrews 9:27
With his time running short, Malachi finds himself designated a messenger by those who wish him to take their final thoughts to their departed loved ones when he goes. Saying his own farewells to others is hard enough, but saying goodbye for others puts a strain on Malachi that only burdens his taxed emotions and busy preparations. Some messages will be impossible to relay. But for others, completing his task might just be within reach...
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.-Psalm 23:4
